Exhibition Statement:

This exhibition presents photographs taken during travels that document movement, reflections, and general observations from the streets of London that caused a pause in the hustle and bustle of a city that is often characterized by perpetual motion. Working with film photography pushes for each observation to be an intentional pause while also allowing for the fluidity of life to create an unexpected result, revealing a hidden world within the familiar chaos of the streets. The use of black and white film allowed for the structural composition to be emphasized highlighting the interplay of light and shadow.
